In the heart of the city of Milan, the controversial protagonist of the innovations and driving forces that propel Italy forward, an ambitious project has taken shape, the name of which references that of another success: the Creative Centre in Casalgrande, a stone’s throw from the headquarters of Casalgrande Padana. The name, ‘Creative Centre’ is, to some extent, a way of conjuring up – in the imagination but with very practical and tangible intentions – a place that turns the spotlight on creative thought, invention and cultural exchange, against a backdrop of spaces created to tell the many stories handed down through the lines and collections put together by Casalgrande Padana over the years; lines and collections bearing its name along with those of the designers and architects that have had the opportunity to create beauty in partnership with a company that has always shown that the inclination to share ideas, experiences and projects is in its DNA.

More recent collaborations resulted in the Earth slabs collection by Casalgrande Padana and the Pininfarina design studio, born from the ambitious idea of using ceramics to capture the legend of motoring, the myth of speed, the celebration of luxury and the essences of glass, leather, wood and metal.
You could almost say that it was the very enthusiasm generated by the creation of the Earth collection that triggered the launch of a new exhibition and creative space, in the heart of the city of Milan in Foro Buonaparte.
And so the Creative Centre of Milan was born: from enthusiasm and the search for innovations capable of turning dogma and archetypes upside down in a world – that of ceramics – in which everything seems to already have been said, yet from which – thanks to the touch of the most creative of designers and the experience of years dedicated to this ancient craft – something emerges every time that makes us smile and marvel in amazement. Each time, something new is born, and around it, a space in which to admire, discuss and share it with people, architects and enthusiasts.
Here it is then, the Creative Centre of Milan, which was opened during the Milan Furniture Fair 2016 in the heart of the Brera Design District, portrayed through photographs of its spaces and the experiences of those who have visited it and experienced its content and atmospheres. The photographs taken to portray this adventure also featured a handful of photos dedicated to Mauro Manfredini and Pininfarina, displayed next to the slabs, the material result of a project and an idea born from the union between two great brands.
The Creative Centre in Milan awaits all those wishing to immerse themselves in innovation, creativity and continuing research.
